PUK’s Homecare
“From day one, our mission has been to deliver the industry’s best and most stable and good service within private homecare. We do this best when all our work tools – including our work phones – function optimally in our daily work”, says Puk Ervolder, founder and co-owner of PUK’s homecare.
Extra work and wasted time due to a mess in the charging of our phones…
“Previously, we experienced that our work phones often lacked cables and fixed places when they had to be charged. The reason was that the employees either took their colleagues’ chargers when their own was gone or placed their phones in a random place in the office where they could find an available power outlet. Finally, there were employees who forgot to plug the charger into the phone properly after the end of the working day”, says Puk Ervolder.
Daily, this meant, among other things, that employees were left without cables or with halfcharged phones. Therefore, they could not charge their phones on time or complete their work within the scheduled time. For other employees, this meant that they never had fixed charging points for their work phones. It made their working day difficult and took the focus away from the citizens and the good service.
Our working day has become so much easier and much more efficient…
Our new NoteLockers with phone charging give the individual employee personal responsibility and thus ensure her or him an optimal start to the day. Fully charged phones mean that our employees always know they have access to citizens’ digital records when they drive around and serve the citizens in our area. With fully charged phones, employees are ensured that their working day will be as efficient as possible.
We felt compelled to optimize our everyday life…
Lack of power on the employees’ phones led to delays and instability in relation to the agreed time we had to get to our “citizens” and a lot more paperwork before we could get out the door.
We therefore chose to invest in NoteLockers with Ambitlocker locks, as the solution offered individual locked compartments with power outlets. The daily charging of the phones now ensures our employees that their work phones are always fully charged and, in their places, when they arrive at work. At the same time, only the individual employee has access via a personal code lock to her/his personal compartment and work telephone. The individual employee is therefore 100% responsible for ensuring that the work phone is 100% charged when she/he comes to work next time.
“We could have chosen for several employees to share space for charging their phones in our NoteLockers. However, we wanted the personal responsibility that came with the individual compartment”, says Puk Ervolder.
In this case, the NoteLockers come with 12 individual compartments, each of which has two power outlets for charging phones, iPads, Laptops, etc. All 12 compartments are equipped with the electronic Ambitlocker locks on the doors, which all have unique codes assigned to each individual employee.
